We interview and collect annual disclosures from market participants representing the majority of project developers and credit resellers, and combine this with registry data from the largest carbon credit standards and certifications. While SOVCM reports are always retrospective, capturing the previous full year of market activity, we also take a forward-looking lens to understand the most important developments shaping the future of the voluntary carbon market (VCM).
