De esta manera, se busca proveer rutas para abordar esta problem\u00e1tica que se acrecienta con las acciones humanas y ahora -a\u00fan m\u00e1s- con la crisis clim\u00e1tica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mar\u00eda Poca, Investigadora del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas (CONICET) de Argentina presentar\u00e1 la ponencia\u00a0 \u201cLecciones sobre el impacto del fuego en la vegetaci\u00f3n y la din\u00e1mica h\u00eddrica de los ecosistemas de altura del centro de Argentina\u201d, mientras que Emilio Cobo, actual coordinador del programa de agua y ecosistemas en la oficina regional de la UICN para Am\u00e9rica del Sur, se encargar\u00e1 de poner en contexto los recientes hechos ocurridos a nivel mundial sobre incendios forestales. Adem\u00e1s, un panel de especialistas buscar\u00e1 responder a la pregunta:\u00a0<strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los retos y oportunidades en la gesti\u00f3n de riesgo de desastres ante la inminente ola de incendios forestales?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diversos estudios demuestran que existe una significativa vinculaci\u00f3n entre incendios forestales y reducci\u00f3n de disponibilidad de agua. En promedio los caudales de estiaje se pueden reducir entre 31 a 48% en terrenos afectados por incendios comparados con terrenos que no han sido afectados y que mantienen la vegetaci\u00f3n y el suelo intactos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los resultados sugieren que la reducci\u00f3n de la disponibilidad de agua en un terreno que ha sufrido un incendio se explica \u2013adem\u00e1s de por otros factores\u2013 por una reducci\u00f3n de la infiltraci\u00f3n de agua en el suelo. En este sentido, urge un manejo adecuado, preventivo y resiliente de los ecosistemas y un control de desastres eficiente, que reduzca o elimine estos riesgos.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DATOS IMPORTANTES<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h6>HASTA SETIEMBRE DE ESTE A\u00d1O, EL SERVICIO NACIONAL FORESTAL Y DE FAUNA SILVESTRE (SERFOR) REGISTR\u00d3 1700 INCENDIOS FORESTALES EN PER\u00da, UN INCREMENTO DE 121% RESPECTO AL MISMO PER\u00cdODO A\u00d1O PASADO Y, SEG\u00daN EL MINAM, EL 28% DEL TERRITORIO NACIONAL PRESENTA CONDICIONES PARA INCENDIOS FORESTALES. EN EL 2018 LOS INCENDIOS FORESTALES AFECTARON 169 MIL HECT\u00c1REAS APROXIMADAMENTE Y, EN EL 2019, LA CIFRA AUMENT\u00d3 A 198 200 HECT\u00c1REAS.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h6>LA P\u00c9RDIDA DE VEGETACI\u00d3N Y LA EROSI\u00d3N DE LOS SUELOS OCASIONADOS POR LOS INCENDIOS FORESTALES REDUCEN SIGNIFICATIVAMENTE EL CAUDAL DE AGUA QUE SE NECESITA PARA AGRICULTURA Y CONSUMO HUMANO.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h6>LOS ECOSISTEMAS NATURALES SON CAPACES DE TRANSFORMAR ENTRE 60 Y 80% DEL AGUA LLUVIA EN CAUDALES, QUE LUEGO LIBERAN EN TEMPORADAS SECAS.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h6>LOS INCENDIOS FORESTALES PUEDEN AFECTAR ESPECIALMENTE LAS TIERRAS DE LOS PUEBLOS IND\u00cdGENAS, DESTRUYENDO LAS FUENTES DE AGUA Y ALIMENTOS Y ALTERANDO SUS MEDIOS DE VIDA Y PR\u00c1CTICAS CULTURALES.
