BBOP15: BBOP Final Conference

BBOP will hold its final conference in Paris for up to 180 people on 27-29 November 2018. The event will provide high visibility for industry, financial institutions and governments and offer tremendous learning opportunities for delegates to examine the future direction of managing biodiversity related risk and opportunity around the world.
That conference is scheduled to take advantage of associated meetings on natural capital and biodiversity taking place in Paris the same week. There will be a strong business focus and presence at the BBOP meeting.
Tuesday 27th November is the key BBOP day ‘Working for Biodiversity Net Gain: Taking stock and prospects for the future’. A draft agenda can be downloaded here.
On Thursday 29th November we are meeting with our partners the EU Business and Biodiversity Platform and hosts CDC Biodiversité (‘Business and Biodiversity: Roadmaps for Positive Impact’). A draft agenda can be downloaded here. Fewer seats are available to BBOP delegates for this day as we are sharing the same venue with our two partner organizations.
On Wednesday 28th November, delegates can choose between a number of options:
- Field trip. More information on the field trip option will be available shortly.
- Attending the Natural Capital Coalition meeting (For those of you who are not members of the NCC, they do have some spaces available for the Collaboration Day meeting on 28 November on a first-come, first-served basis. - Informal working sessions and discussions on a number of themes organized by some programmes and interst groups. Let us know if you have a topic to suggest.
